Years ago, there were two powerful family herds. The Arae and the Eunomia. They were close friends. The leader of the Arae and the leader of the Eunomia were best friends. That all changed when a mare named Lyssa entered the picture. The leader of Arae, named Muse, fell in love with Lyssa immediately. The leader of Eunomia, named Psyche, also fell in love with her. Both stallions tried to woo Lyssa. It turned into a competition and their friendship soon turned dark.
Eventually, Lyssa chose Muse. Jealous, Psyche, devised a plan to trick Lyssa into thinking Muse was dead. He told her to meet him on the Cooling Cliffs late one night during a bad rain storm. Fog had begun rolling in as well. Lyssa made the journey. When Psyche began telling Lyssa that Muse was dead, distraught and depressed, Lyssa fled. The following morning, still believing the horrible truth, Lyssa headed up to the cliffs and 'accidentally' slid off them.
When Muse heard the horrible trick that Psyche had pulled, after he'd come back from exploring, Muse was extremely angry and rage and hatred filled him. He vowed to make Psyche pay for what he had done. Psyche blamed Muse for Lyssa's death, claiming that he used tricks and took Lyssa away from him. To this day, both families have despised one another. Now their decendents, Arrow and Annabelle, lead the herds. While they know the history of their family, and hate each other, they might have to team up to destroy something much darker that wants to take out any royal bloodline and be the ultimate ruler.
